iPECS Report Plus Installation
Step 1
Run the Installer application with Administrator privileges.
Step 2
If Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 is not already installed, you will receive the message to install it ► Select Yes.
The installation may take a few minutes to complete.

You will be prompted to reboot your system once the install completes. Please ensure you do the reboot before continuing with the install.
Step 3
Once you log back in the iPECS CCS Installation will continue and you will receive the Option to Install the Client or Server ► Select Single-Server Installation ► Click Forward.
Step 4
At the next screen you will need to enter your iPECS CCS license code. ► Click Forward.
Software Registration Code – the iPECS CCS license package code.
Step 5
Complete the software registration form. ► Click Forward.
Step 6
Read and Accept the iPECS CCS Software License Agreement ► Click Forward.
Step 7
Confirm the installation path for the iPECS CCS Program Files ► Click Forward to start the installation.
Step 8
The iPECS CCS Installer will check if Microsoft SQL Server (default instance) has been installed on the machine. If not, the Installer will have to install the SQL Server first thus asks for the location to store the database files ► Click OK.
Step 9
The Installer will start installing each component to completion. You will then get to the iPECS Report Plus Configuration Window as shown in the next step.
Step 10 - iPECS Report Plus Configuration Wizard
Step 10.1 - You will need to select your install type ► Click Next.
There are 3 available options:

Step 10.2 - Enter the site name ►Click Next.
Site Name – refers to the name of the site used in reports and on monitoring programs.
Step 10.3 - Enter the Country Name for this site ► Click Next.
Name – select the country for this site. This will appear on reports and is used to provide the correct billing information.
Step 10.4 – Enter the location (Exchange) details for this site ► Click Next.
- Local Number or Exchange Name– choose the exchange for the site from the drop down list. Alternatively the site’s phone number can be entered and click the ‘Select’ button to find the matching exchange.
- Selected Exchange– shows the result of the Local Number search.

Step 10.5 - Select the Connection Type ► Click Next.

Note: If your iPECS Report Plus package includes ACD Agent Web, this option will be disabled and set to a default setting - UCP ACD Logging setting.
Step 10.6 – Select the PABX Type ► Click Next.
Note: The following steps you can leave default or adjust them as you require.
Step 10.7 - Day start and end allows you to configure the start and end of business during normal days and weekends ► Click Next.
Step 10.9 - Configure the inactivity timeouts for each time zone. Only the number of downloads before inactivity can be changed. Timeouts can also be ignored for certain time zones ► Click Next.
Step 10.10 - Enter a Sales Tax Name and Rate ► Click Next.
Step 10.11 - Create the first trunk group for the site by providing a name and selecting a carrier. The list of carriers are determined by the country selected earlier Click Next

More trunk groups can be created with iPECS Report Plus Manager.
Step 10.12 - create One digit modification settings for the trunk group, if applicable ►Click Next.

Step 10.13 - Add the extensions to be monitored and reported by iPECS Report Plus with this step ►Click Next.
There are several different methods to create or import your Extension Range:
Use the Add Ext Range tool to create range of new devices against a department or name.
- Import CSV– load a CSV file that contains the required information. The CSV file must be formatted correctly as per example below.

- Import Excel- load an Excel spreadsheet that contains the required information. To use this tool, Excel 2007 or later must be installed on the server machine.
Step 10.14 - A database backup can be scheduled daily by the Configuration Wizard. This is important because the iPECS Report Plus database contains all the call data records and system configuration.
Note
This step can be skipped by disabling the ‘Schedule Backup’ box. Otherwise all information must be completed before it can move to the next step. ►Click Next.
- Schedule Backup– enables the feature.
- User Name– A Windows user with administrator privilege.
- Password– the password of the Windows user.
- Test Pass– used to test the username & password.
- Backup Location– storage path and name of the backup file..
- Time to Run Backup– the time when the backup task will be performed daily.
Step 10.15 - Select Activate site when created to enable iPECS Report Plus Server to start collecting call data records for this site ►Click Next.
Step 10.17 - The wizard will proceed to Step 17 which provides a Summary of all the settings used. The summary of the configurations can be printed and saved as a text file.
The configuration can also be exported so that it can be loaded into the configuration wizard. Please see option 2 of 10.1 for more information.
►Click Finish to write the configuration into the database.
►Click Yes on the warning. Any existing configuration will be overwritten and is not recoverable.
Step 11
The iPECS CCS Installer will again start installing a few more components to completion. You will then get to the iPECS Report Plus BI Configuration Window as shown in the next step.

Mail Settings
- Host– the name of the SMTP email server.
- Port– the port number for SMTP.
- Sender Email Address– the ‘From’ address when sending email from iPECS Report Plus Web.
- Username– the user account to use SMTP.
- Password– the password to the SMTP user account.
- Domain– the domain for the SMTP user account, if required.
- Timeouts– the time it waits when attempting to connect with the SMTP server.
