CYTRACK recommends the use of the following tools to assist any TAPI troubleshooting and/or analysis:

- TAPI Call Monitor

This application allows you to monitor/control telephony devices through TAPI in a similar fashion to CyDesk. It is a free program called PHONE.EXE
Run a few checks to confirm telephony is working correctly:
- Ensure all TAPI devices are listed.
- Start a session on the nearest extension and ensure control can be achieved.
- Lift handset and view the devices changed status, make a call, hang-up a call etc.

The Call Monitor automatically opens all TAPI devices thus providing a single screen to monitor all TAPI traffic and information, however there are lesser TAPI functions supported by this application.
