Problem

CyDesk Client or CyDesk Manager is unable to connect to the CYTRACK Server

 

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Check if the server IP address setting in CyDesk Config Manager is correct and test . Open CyDesk Manager and click on Options → Configure and select CyDesk Manager Options

  • Click on Change to enter your server address.

  • Update the CyDesk Server address and click on Save.

  • Close CyDesk manager and reopen the program should now connect to the server.

Advanced Steps

  • Test if you can telnet to the IP AddressCyTrack server Address on port 9011 i.e. Telnet serveraddress:9011

  • Check server/client Firewall settings for port 9011

  • Make sure CyDesk Server service is running

  • Use Task Manager to check that DeskServer.exe process is running
