Follow the instructions below to add the adaptative card feature to a teams channel or chat to share reports from CyReport.

  1. Open a team’s channel to configure the Adaptive card

  2. Right click on the channel and select connectors.

  3. Scroll down the list of connectors to locate CyReport for teams and click on configure and save.Incoming Webhook and click on configure.

  4. Enter a Name for the webhook and upload an image. Click on Create.

  5. Copy the URL generated to save it to the clipboard, then select Save. You'll need this URL when you go to CyReport Settings next.

  6. Open CyReport App in Teams and click on the profile icon. Select Webhooks from the drop down menu.

  7. On the Webhooks Settings, click on New and select the pencil icon to configure the new entry. Enter a Channel Name and paste the URL under Webhook URL copied in step 5. Click on the tick icon to finalize.

Using Adaptive Card in CyReport

  1. To utilize the Adaptive Card feature, open the CyReport App in teams.

  2. Select a saved report in CyReport to share with the channel.

  3. Scroll to On the bottom top right of the report, click on the Share drop down menu and select “Share on Teams’.

  4. In the dialogue box select the desired channel and click on Share.  The Adaptive report card can be shared across multiple channels.

  5. The shared report can now be viewed within the Reports on Team channel by all members.

  6. Clicking on “View Report” adaptive card will open the report in a browser for further viewing.
