Install Fails after Uninstalling iPECS CCS

Problem

After doing a complete uninstall of iPECS CCS – the new install attempt fails


Troubleshooting Steps

–> Ensure you have followed the iPECS CCS Uninstallation Guide and that all Services were stopped before commencing with the uninstall

–> Check that the SQL database files were successfully deleted.  Please note the SQL data and log files may have been stored in a different location to the default location


–> In the Control Panel - check all SQL components were uninstalled - including:

  • Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
  • Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support Files
  • Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer
