Teams App Installation, Licensing & Registration


Overview

This guide provides instructions on setting up Cytrack Teams desktop app. Whilst each of the Cytrack apps needs to be installed individually, the licensing will need to be applied once against any of the applicable apps.


Add App

  1. Log into the Microsoft Teams desktop client as a Global Administrator user

  2. On the left navigation menu select “Apps

  3. In Search type the name of the Cytrack app to be installed and click on the app name

     

     

  4. The selected Cytrack app will pop-up, click the “Add” button to install the app and it’ll appear in the left navigation menu.


Licensing

For CyReport Analytics for Teams obtained through Microsoft Marketplace Subscription, the licensing process is seamlessly integrated during subscription, removing the necessity for a separate license submission. To register your Cytrack app and ensure license verification, please proceed with the following steps.


License Applied

To ensure that your CyReport Analytics app is properly licensed, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the installed CyReport App and navigate to the Settings tab.

  2. The License Code field is already pre-populated with asterisks. No further action required and you and move to App Configuration step to continue your app setup.

     


License Required

In instances where the CyReport Analytics for Teams is acquired outside of Microsoft Marketplace Subscription, please note that the licensing code will not be prepopulated. Follow the Activation and Registration Instructions below to finalize this.


Activation and Registration Instructions

This section serves as a guide to successfully activating and registering the CyReport Analytics app.


Registration

  1. Open the installed CyReport App and navigate to the Settings tab.

  2. Enter the license key obtained from Cytrack and click the Submit button. If you don’t have a license key, kindly contact support@cytrack.io for assistance.


M365 Global Administrator Approval

  1. Sign in as the M365 Global Administrator.

  2. Approve the CyReport app access to the M365 tenancy. Note: Ensure the user has either of the following M365 roles or higher for the license submission operation:

    • Application administrator

    • Privileged role administrator

  3. Upon clicking the Submit button, you will be prompted with pop-up windows to log in to Azure AD and provide consent for the required permissions.

Consent Process

  1. Click on "Accept" in the pop-up window.

  2. After clicking on Accept it might take few minutes to complete.

     

Completion Confirmation

  1. Once “License Applied” message is displayed it means Registration has completed.

  2. CyReport is now ready to be used by the approved M365 tenancy and user can navigate to the CyReport tab and access the application.
