Initial Mandatory Log-in Process
This article will demonstrate the mandatory initial log-in process to ACD Agent after the system has just been installed/ activated.
Rationale
For the network to recognize all users/ agents logging into the new system, it is a major requirement that the following steps must be strictly followed. This simple yet crucial procedure - to yield accurate reporting, only needs to be done once by any "first time log-in" user into the newly installed system.
Step 1: Log-on to the ACD Agent Web portal accordingly.
Step 2: Once logged in to the portal’s interface, physically take the user’s phone off the hook
Step 3: On the ACD Agent screen, ensure that the status of the user (i.e. Sami) has changed to ‘on call’ and the user’s photo has a red outline.
Step 4: Once it has been confirmed that the user’s status is “on call’, replace the handset back.
Step 5: On the ACD Agent screen, ensure that the status of the user (i.e. Sami) has changed back to ‘free’ and the user’s photo has a ‘green’ outline.
