Setup ODBC Connection to CyTrack Database

This article provides instructions for manually setting up ODBC Connection to the CyTrack database.

  1. On the Start page, type ODBC Data Sources. The ODBC Data Sources Desktop App should appear as a choice. Refer to Microsoft article Open the ODBC Data Source Administrator - SQL Server | Microsoft Learn

  2. Select ODBC Data Sources (32 bit). Click on Add

  3. Select SQL and click on Finish

  4. Enter Name ‘CyTrack’ and the server IP address or name.

  5. Select ‘With SQL Server authentication using ID and password entered by user'.

  6. Enter Login ID: CyTrackuser

  7. Enter Password: <Contact CyTrack support for password> and click on next

  8. Ensure CyTrack is selected for default database and click Next

  9. Click on Finish

  10. Clcik on Test Data Source

  11. Ensure the Tests completed successfully and click on Ok to finish and Ok to finalize setup.

  12. Repeat the above steps for ODBC Data Sources (64 bit)
