CyReport Installation Guide
You may wish to review our Pre-Install Checklist for CyReport deployments that also assists in planning necessary and applicable information prior to commencing a CyReport deployment to site.
CyReport Installation
Step 1
Run the Installer application with Administrator privileges.
 Step 2
If Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5is not already installed, you will receive the message to install it  Select Yes.
The installation may take a few minutes to complete.
NOTE
You will be prompted to reboot your system once the install completes. Please ensure you do the reboot before continuing with the install

Step 3
Once you log back in the CYTRACK Installation will continue and you will receive the Option to Install the Client or Server  Select Single-Server Installation  ==> Click Forward.

At the next screen you will need to enter your CYTRACK license code ==> Click Forward.
Software Registration Code – the CYTRACK license package code.

Step 5
Complete the software registration form ==> Click Forward.

Read and agree to the CYTRACK Software License Agreement  ==> Click Forward.

Confirm the installation path for the CYTRACK program files ==>  Click Forward to start the installation.
Â
Step 8
The CYTRACK Installer will check if  Microsoft SQL Server (default instance) has been installed on the machine. If not, the Installer will have to install the SQL Server first thus asks for the location to store the database files ==>  Click OK.

The Installer will start  installing each component to completion. You will then get to the CyReport Configuration Window as shown in the next step.

Step 10Â -Â CyReport Configuration Wizard
Step 10.1 - You will need to select your  install type  Click Next.
There are 3 available options:
Full Install – run each step of the configuration wizard.
Load from existing configuration – use a saved export file from the configuration wizard to create the new CyReport configuration wizard.
Restore from Backup – use a Microsoft SQL backup file of the CyReport database to create the new CyReport configuration.
Select  Full Install  Click Next.

Step 10.2 - Enter the site name  Click Next.
Site Name – the name of the site.
Â
Step 10.3 - Enter the Country Name for this site  Click Next.
Name – select the country for this site.
Â
Step 10.4 – Enter the location (Exchange) details for this site  Click Next.
Local Number or Exchange Name – choose the exchange for the site from the drop down list. Alternatively the site’s phone number can be entered and click the ‘Select’ button to find the matching exchange.
Selected Exchange – shows the result of the Local Number search.Â

Step 10.5 - Select the Connection Type  Click Next.
There are 9 connection types that can be selected:
Server – Connects to a CyReport Remote program running on the same machine as the server.
Network – Connects to either a PABX producing SMDR via TCP/IP, or a CyReport Remote program running on a machine other than the local machine via TCP/IP.
Dialup-Â Connects to a CyReport Remote program on a machine other than the local machine via a dialup modem.
Samsung Logging-Â Connect to a Samsung PABX using ACD.
LG Ericsson Logging – connects to the iPECS LIK via TCP/IP connection. This requires the network address of the iPECS LIK plus port number.
Panasonic Connection – Connects to a Panasonic PABX via TCP/IP.
CyReport CTI – connects to CTI server i.e. CyDesk. This requires the network address of the CyDesk Server.
iPECS CM Logging – A special mode for connection to the iPECS CM. This requires the network address of the iPECS CM as well as the port that it listens to.
Listen for connection – Set a PABX to connect to the CyReport Server.

Select Network.
Step 10.6 – Select the PABX Type & enter localhost for CyRemote  Click Next.

Note:Â The following steps you can leave default or adjust them as you require.

Step 10.7 - Day start and end allows you to configure the start and end of business during normal days and weekends  Click Next.
Â
Step 10.9 - Configure the inactivity timeouts for each time zone. Only the number of downloads before inactivity can be changed. Timeouts can also be ignored for certain time zones  Click Next.

Step 10.10 - Enter a Sales Tax Name and Rate  ==> Click Next.

Step 10.11 - Create the first  trunk group for the site by providing a name and selecting a carrier. The list of carriers are determined by the country selected earlier ==> Click Next.

More trunk groups can be created with CyReport Manager

Step 10.12 - create One digit modification settings for the trunk group, if applicable ==> Click Next.

More digit modifications can be created with CyReport Manager.

Step 10.13 - Add the extensions to be monitored and reported by CyReport with this step ==> Click Next.

There are several different methods to create or import your Extension Range:
 Use the Add Ext Range tool to create range of new devices against a department or name.

Import CSV – load a CSV file that contains the required information. The CSV file must be formatted correctly as per example below.
DEPARTMENT, CONTACT, EXT
Support, Taupheeq Omar, 100
Import Excel - load an Excel spreadsheet that contains the required information. To use this tool, Excel 2007 or later must be installed on the server machine.

Step 10.14 - A database backup can be scheduled daily by the Configuration Wizard. This is important because the CyReport database contains all the call data records and system configuration.
 Note
This step can be skipped by disabling the ‘Schedule Backup’ box. Otherwise all information must be completed before it can move to the next step.

==> Click Next.
Schedule Backup – enables the feature.
User Name – A Windows user with administrator privilege.
Password – the password of the Windows user.
Test Pass – used to test the username & password.
Backup Location – storage path and name of the backup file..
Time to Run Backup – the time when the backup task will be performed daily.

Step 10.15 - Select Activate site when created to enable CyReport Server to start collecting call data records for this site ==>  Click Next.

Step 10.17 - The wizard will proceed to Step 17 which provides a Summary of all the settings used. The summary of the configurations can be printed and saved as a text file.
The configuration can also be exported so that it can be loaded into the configuration wizard. Please consult 10.1 for more information.

 Click Finish to write the configuration into the database.
  Click Yes on the warning. Any existing configuration will be overwritten and is not recoverable.

Step 11
The CYTRACK Installer will again start installing a few more components to completion.You will then get to the CyReport BI Configuration Window as shown in the next step.

Step 12Â -Â CyReport BI Configuration
There are 2 tabs which require configuration:

Server Settings
Database Server Location – the address of the machine that runs the CyReport database. Click the ‘Test’ button to test the connection.
Server Address – the address of the machine that runs CyReport Server. Click the ‘Test’ button to test the connection.
Port – the port number to connect to the CyReport Server. This setting is read-only.
Network Credential Setting – specify a Windows account that has administrator privilege. This is used for temporary files during subscription, export and tests.
Send URL – Allows you to send the website URL to a user via email.
The other configurations in this tab are not required at this stage.
Mail Settings
Host – the name of the SMTP email server.
Port – the port number for SMTP.
Sender Email Address – the ‘From’ address when sending email from CyReport Web.
Username – the user account to use SMTP.
Password – the password to the SMTP user account.
Domain – the domain for the SMTP user account, if required.
Timeouts – the time it waits when attempting to connect with the SMTP server.
Subscription Settings
File Path – the address to store the subscription file for server file sharing. This can be set to a network UNC path e.g. \\server\folder, however, the network credential setting must have enough access to write into this folder.
 Sender Email Address – the ‘From’ address when sending email from CyReport Web.
 Max File Limit (kB) – the maximum number of bytes allowed by the SMTP email server.

Email Alert Settings
 Enable Email Alert – Enable or disable email alert.
Address to send alert – The email address to send the email alerts to.
==> Press the Save button after completing the configuration.
