Configuring SMTP

SMTP profiles are used to send email notifications in different areas of the system. A new profile can be added by clicking on the ‘Add’ button, and an existing one can be deleted by clicking on the ‘red bin’ icon.

• Profile Name – The name of the SMTP profile.
• SMTP Server –The network address of the SMTP email server to use. Default SMTP port 25 will be used to connect. A different port number can be configured in this field by using the colon sign. e.g. smtpsvr:26
• From Address – The sender address.
• SMTP Username –Username to log in to the email server, if required.
• SMTP Password –Password to log in to the email server, if required.
