Avaya SIP Endpoints Programming

PABX must have sufficient licenses for SIP phone to be used by HMP. If CyQ is licensed with 4 announcement ports, the number of SIP phone licenses required is 4.

Follow the steps below to register the 3rd Party SIP Endpoints with the Avaya IP Office

Firstly check that the 3rd Party SIP Endpoints are licensed. Avaya  License

Secondly, create a new user and an extension in Avaya as shown in the below screen shot.

On the Extension menu ensure the corresponding extension is created.

Alternatively, the SIP extension can be created by right-clicking on the Extension menu.
